Our project focuses on improving how people manage organic waste in shared urban homes, where composting often becomes inconvenient or neglected.

Across interviews, we found that compost is the most problematic type of waste. People often store it in temporary containers or plastic bags, and it quickly becomes messy and unpleasant.
